Motion-forces in polar coordinates

A particle of mass m moves on a path which in polar coordinates is described by :

r(t) = r0 + b*cos(ω t)

Θ(t) = π/6*sin(ω t)

Here, r0, b , and ω are given constants and t is time.

Please, determine as function of time the equations for the r-component and Θ-component of :

  • the velocity
  • the force necessary to keep the particle on its path
