The path of a particular satellite is an ellipse given in polar coordinates by the equation :


  1. Because the force of gravity onto the satellite is directed towards earth the angular momentum of the satellite is what ??

  2. Determine distance R for Θ = 0 and for Θ = π .

  3. When Θ=0 the velocity of the satellite has been measured to be 2000 m/s.
    Determine the velocity when Θ = π using the fact that angular momentum is conserved.
