where the time t is to be entered in seconds.
At the same time the rod rotates about the point 0 in the plane of the paper

is described by the equation :

Write out the equations for the components of the vector of acceleration
of the collar using polar coordinates.
Please , don't try to simplify the two equations by multiplying and recombining terms. It won't give you any extra credits.
