Combined axial and bending stress

For the beam shown in the figure to the right determine the tensile/compressive stress in the cross-section A-B at point A (the left edge of the vertical pole) and point B (the right edge of the vertical pole).
The beam is of circular cross-section with a diameter of 5cm.
The distance of 0.1 m is measured from the line of action of force P to the center of the vertical pole.

The central moment of inertia of a circle is :
d = 5 cm = diameter of beam at cross-section A-B.

Hint : You might want to consider the equilibrium of the part of the beam above the cross-section A-B carefully.
