  1. Which property of the ideal gas remains constant during this particular process ?

  2. Prove that for this process the initial state (index 1) and final state (2) are related by the equation :
    p1 v1n = p2 v2n
    HINT : use an equation for the property given as answer to question 1.

  3. Express the exponent "n" in terms of the specific heats cv and cp.
