Conservation of Energy, Steady State


A well-insulated water mixer has two inlet pipes, 1 and 2, through which liquid water at two different temperatures enters at constant mass flow rates. A stirring unit mixes the two incoming water streams perfectly with negligible energy requirements. At exit 3 the mixed water is leaving the mixing unit.
For steady state operation determine the mass flow rate and temperature of the water at exit 3 using the data provided for inlet 1 and 2.
